One could say that United could have another predictable transfer window filled with wrong signings as it is reported that they are showing more importance in the attacking role rather than bolstering their midfield area.

It’s widely assumed that United will have a lot of clearouts after the season, particularly in the center of the pitch, where players like Jesse Lingard and Paul Pogba are already on their way out.

However, despite knowing the fact that there will be reinforcements in the midfield, the incompetent club are trying to focus on bringing in a center-forward.

Players like Moussa Dembele, Darwin Nunez, and Victor Oshimhen have all been linked to Manchester United for a potential summer transfer.

But there is one significant outstanding player among all of them: Tottenham’s talisman Harry Kane, who has been linked with a move to Old Trafford in the previous season.

With Edinson Cavani’s impending exit in May, it’s no surprise that his name will be at the top of United’s transfer target list.

By all accounts, England’s captain is a world-class player, but whenever the transfer market opens, the amount of money required to bring him in will be the main talking point.

Tottenham’s chairman, Daniel Levy, is well-known for his obstinacy in player negotiations, and it has been said that his starlet won’t leave the club for less than £100 million.

As per Laurie Whitwell in The Athletic, The Red Devils is the prime target for them and it doesn’t matter whosoever the manager will be for next season.

The odds are less to get Harry Kane’s signature?

The Englishmen will definitely be a world-beater if he makes it to Old Trafford having noticed his prowesses at Tottenham Hotspurs.

The Spurs-lad has scored 242 goals in his 370 appearances for the Lily Whites since being at the club as a kid.

There is no doubt about the 28-year-old ability but the huge price tag will be the talking point as Tottenham’s CEO considered him untouchable.

Having said that Antonio Conte wants to build his team around Kane and the Italian will make sure that his no.9 won’t make it to the exit door.

In terms of the club’s recruitment policy, there is no reason to believe that this season’s transfer window will be a success, simply because of their previous poor decisions.

When fans have raised questions, names like John Murtough and Ed Woodward have always come up, but the decider is always the Glazers, who have consistently allocated fewer finances for transfers.

And by hearing stories circulating in the public that the association continues to overlook the frailties of the pitch’s central part.

Why is the DCM(central defensive midfield) region so crucial for next season? and why it should be the primary target?

The Mancunians have not been linked with a ball-playing central defensive midfielder in the past season but due to the incapable people upstairs, they couldn’t strike a deal.

Nemanja Matic is the only CDM present at the club but he is coming towards the end of his career and therefore there will be needing a replacement in place.

On the other hand, Fred and McTominay, who has been frequently featuring in the two midfield-pivot roles for the past few seasons have not set the world on fire as they also lack some skills in that zone.

Often we have seen that the duo(Fred & McTominay) has been lacking the intellectual passing through the lines, Matic, who has the capability to do so but is way out of his pace.

Which unanimously brings it up to bring in a super-talented baller who can take the ball out from the back and move the ball quickly through tight spaces for our attackers.

Bruno Fernandes is the only man who can make the ‘eye of a needle’ pass from the deep but against a tougher side, he always gets isolated which then nullify our attacking threats to the opposition.

Aurelien Tchouameni, Bobucar Kamara, Declan Rice, etc, are all on United’s shopping list for the summer and all three are the ideal man who surely will come straight into the first XI.
