Manchester United have added midfielders Matty Willock and Scott McTominay to their Europa League squad.
The 20-year-old pair trained with United at Carrington on Wednesday ahead of the semi-final first leg with Celta Vigo on Thursday night.
Willock was named on the bench against West Brom last month and McTominay made the matchday 18 in the weekend draw with Swansea but neither emerged for their debut.
Although United’s injury crisis has eased with the returns of Paul Pogba, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling, Jose Mourinho has added the two reserve squad members to United’s European list.
Willock nor McTominay travelled to Vigo after Smalling and Jones came through training unscathed. The England internationals were part of the 21-man playing squad which flew to Spain.
